Group Camp Kit List

An exact copy of the suggested kit list attached to the distributed 'Nights Away Information Form' is provided below:
- Complete Uniform
- Warm sweaters, jumpers or sweatshirts
- T-shirts or similar
- Trousers or shorts
- Spare underclothes (one per day)
- Spare socks (one per day)
- Nightwear
- Hike boots or strong shoes
- Waterproofs (coat and trousers)
- A small amount of money for camp shop
- Hankies
- Personal washing requirements and towel
- Foam roll / Karrimat
- Sun hat, sun cream, sunglasses
- Sleeping bag
- Plate, bowl, mug, cutlery
- Tea towel
- Torch and spare batteries
- Personal first aid kit
- Day sack / plastic drinks bottle
- Polyethene bags (for dirty clothes)
- Teddy!
- Hawaiian fancy dress
This list is meant as a guide - please remember that the aim of the event is to have fun while camping, not to scale Mount Everest!

Band CD due for release

After an extremely busy summer of carnivals and practicing, the band are pleased to announce the release of their new CD - "By Request" - due for release on 25th November 2010. The CD was recorded live on Sunday 5th September at our Headquarters in Allbrook by Dr Jekyl Mobile Recording. If you would like to pre-order a copy, please email the Director of Music.

Investiture's Today

Today we welcomed Ethan & Sebastian into the 14th Eastleigh Scout Troop, who have both come up to us from the Cub Pack. Although they have only been with us a short time, but have already made a welcome contribution to the life of the Troop. We look forward to helping them acheive their Cheif Scout's Gold Award over the next 4 years.

Waterfight

A reminder that tomorrow's evening (21/07/10) will consist of a waterfight!
Therefore it is advised that cubs come in clothes they don't mind getting wet. It is also advisable to bring a towel, change of clothes (to go home dry in) and any water pistols they may own.
